Stephen Trivers is currently the President of Stephen C. Trivers, LLC, a business consulting firm based in Kalamazoo, Michigan, specializing in management guidance, sales training, and personal coaching. Previously he had a long, successful career in radio broadcasting holding sales, programming, and management positions in the industry. In 1972, he co-founded and became the President and majority stockholder of Fairfield Broadcasting Company of Kalamazoo, a position he held until selling the company in May 2006.
Mr. Trivers became interested in Leadership Initiatives as a result of his long friendship with Marshall Bailly. The mission, accomplishments, and ideals of the organization inspire Mr. Trivers and he feels it an honor to serve as LI's Board Chairman.

Theodore Carter serves as Executive Managing Director for CBRE's Government and Public Sector Solutions (GPSS) business unit, with a focus on leveraging the breadth of CBRE's platform for public sector and government clients. Prior to joining CBRE in October 2005, Mr. Carter served as President/CEO of the quasi public National Capital Revitalization Corporation, a real estate development entity in Washington, D.C. From 1997-2000 he served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Management Operations at the United States Department of Treasury, where his responsibilities included leadership and oversight of the department's real estate, procurement and security\critical infrastructure portfolios as well as financial and management oversight of the department's law enforcement bureaus. He has held senior staff positions in the mayoral administrations of Mayors David Dinkins and Rudolph Guliani in New York City, and Marion Barry and Anthony Williams in Washington, D.C.

Tamara Jack is an outside General Counsel (pro bono) of Leadership Initiatives. Currently she is the Assistant General Counsel at Logistics Management Institute (LMI). In this position, she provides advice to LMI staff on U.S. export controls compliance, immigration law issues and various U.S. government contract formation and administration matters. Prior to joining LMI, Ms. Jack was an associate with the law firm of Dykema Gossett PLLC in their Washington, D.C. office, specializing in the areas of International Trade and Government Contracts. She has represented clients in a variety of export control law matters, as well as various litigation and procurement matters relating to government contracts. Tamara holds a Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Arts degrees from American University. She may be contacted at tjack@lmi.org
LYNSIE HALL

Omnilearn is an online learning company featuring a patented online LSS (learner support system). OmniLearn provides high-end LMS/LSS support, intelligent web-sites (including marketplace and communication outreach), training development & delivery, testing (360 etc), and strategic marketing/online outreach for commercial, educational, NGO, and not-for-profit clients. Ms. Hall has been an educator both in the classroom and as a college administrator prior to moving online. She studied educational effectiveness at Harvard (B.A.) and Johns Hopkins (M.S. Ed) and works with the Wharton School of Business. She has held senior leadership positions in corporations and, as a consultant, has specialized in leadership, change management, and technology innovation and sits on the board of several wireless companies. With her passion for learning and education, Ms. Hall is honored to support LI's far-reaching goals.
JENA ROSCOE

With extensive experience in both the political and non-profit arena, Jena Roscoe serves as an indispensable liaison for Leadership Initiatives. Jena served within the Clinton/Gore Administration as Associate Director for African American and Youth Outreach in the White House Office of Public Liaison. She has also played a key role as Assistant to the President of the A. Philip Randolph Institute of the American Federation of Labor, Congress of Industrial Organizations, organizing both laborers and African American leaders to meet the objectives of the labor federation. She currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief of Government Affairs at Operation HOPE, Inc., which advocates for revitalization and economic self-sufficiency of inner city communities, and stands as the nation's first social non-profit national investment banker organization. Jena provides Leadership Initiatives with critical strategic advice and networking support.
THOMAS WOODS
President of Woods International
LLC/Senior Fellow Heritage Foundation
Tom is President of Woods International, LLC, a private sector consulting firm focused on economic growth strategies and public private partnerships for African development. He is also a Senior Associate Fellow with the Heritage Foundation in Washington, DC and is a leading expert on U.S.-Africa relations, human and economic development, and political and security issues in Africa.
Tom served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Africa (2004-2006) and led U.S. engagement with 25 countries in west and southern Africa. He also led U.S. economic policy toward Africa, including trade and investment issues. He has been instrumental in shaping U.S. policy on Africa and driving the change from a focus on aid to a focus on trade partnership. Mr. Woods led U.S. Government engagement on Africa Energy Security and he chaired the first Bilateral Conference on U.S.-Nigeria Energy Cooperation. Mr. Woods helped develop the first major public/private partnership between leading oil companies, donors and the Government of Nigeria to reduce violent conflict in Nigeria's Niger Delta.
Bryan Bernys
National Field Director
Leadership Institute
Bryan Bernys is the National Field Director at the Leadership
Institute, a non-profit organization based in Arlington, VA. The
Leadership Institute's mission is to identify, recruit, train and
place conservative minded individuals in political, governmental and
media positions throughout the country. Bryan is responsible for the
overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Leadership Institutes
National Field Program, a nation-wide network of over 1,300
conservative student organizations and publications. Before being
named the National Field Director, Bryan also served the Leadership
Institute as the Director of Political Training.
Prior to his work with the Leadership Institute Bryan was a member of
Senator John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign. Bryan served
Senator McCain as his Field Director for the New Hampshire Primary
Campaign, in this role he was one of the first to be hired by the
McCain campaign. Aside from his work with McCain campaign Bryan also
has considerable experience as a Republican campaign operative having
worked on two different U.S. presidential campaigns, and several other
local political campaigns around the country. In addition to his
political work Bryan is a graduate of American University holding a
bachelors degree in the C.L.E.G. (Communications, Law, Economics and
Government).
